airport sprint wireless broadband and safari

i have been using airport express to transmit a sprint wireless broadband connection for my pc to my macbook. this has worked just fine until a sprint wireless update i a few months ago. since then my macbook says it is receiving the airport signal as per usual, but i can't get onto the internet anymore via the airport. this did not happen with previous updates. network diagnostics says the airport is working fine and maybe i'm typing in the wrong url into sierra. that is not the case <sigh> if i plug my sprint wireless card directly into my macbook - everything is fine - but then my pc is off-line. the whole reason i got the airport was for the portability with my macbook while allowing the pc in my back office to remain connected to the internet as well. now its one or the other, and the sprint wirelesss device is clunky when carrying around a laptop - not to mention its size prevents me from using my other usb port.

when i connect my airport to my stereo to listen to itunes, it works fine... but the light glows orange all the time, never green as it does when plugged into the power strip in my back office.

i purchased the macbook in august of 2007 and the airport the next month.

i apologize for not using the correct terminology, i'm not much of a tech.

any insight is much appreciated

Have you considered using an EVDO router instead of the AirPort Express device?
