How can my grandchildren inherit my iTunes Library??

I have greatly enjoyed my iTunes library experience over the past four years. I had approximately 2,000 songs in CD's that I originally copied over and have since purchased another 2,000 songs over the years.

I'm pretty knoweledgable about the transfer capabilities of iTunes, having bought new computers, crashed old computers, restored iPods, etc, but I am now concerned with how my grandkids will be able to inherit my music. Pre-itunes, they just simply collected the CD's from their grandparents and the CD's were probably distributed among the grandchildren.

I realize the problem to the industry that if I have 10 grandkids and they all inherit my iTunes library, copyright holders have lost 9 sales, but they probably wouldn't have bought the music anyway, and inheriting the music may make them big fans of certain of the artists in the library - so I can see theoretical arguments both way on the copyrights issue.

Will all of my purchased music be simply lost to the next generation??
