I keep getting an error telling me that there are no TV shows on my Apple TV. This happens after I don't use it for a few days and when I try to watch there is just an Apple Logo - frozen, have to unplug and plug back. This usually fixes the problem, but now I only have access to my music, movies, and photos. I stream everything and this has never been a problem before. I disconnected from my iTunes library, set it up again using a new setup code. Disconnected Apple TV from network and reconnected. Restarted iTunes. Everything I can think of.. and no TV shows!
Im at my wits end for because of this not-ready-for-prime-time device.
Mac Pro (2x3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon), MacBook Pro (2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo),
Mac OS X (10.5.3)
They are on my Mac Pro, along with my music. I had always set up for streaming, and it usually works fine.
Anyway, I just figured it out this morning. Somehow, my Mac Pro lost its authorization with the iTunes store! I had to re-authorize my computer and it came back with the result (you now have 4 of 5 computers authorized). This is particularly strange because I had 2 other computers authorized. This leads me to think that there was an Apple server-side issue that broke my connection.
Anyway, its working now. Hope it doesn't keep happening. Thanks for your reply.
