Force quit: not responding

ITunes 4.9 won't launch properly (menu bar but nothing else). Force quit appears to work but iTunes appears back in the dock and attempting to force quit again reports "not responding". Only option is to restart. Any ideas?

No but I do own a dog 🙂 Hello iTunes won't launch properly and when force quit is used it doesn't respond sounds like something else is using iTunes as well. . . Try shutting down the other program 1st I would start looking for Widgets and Konfabulators. . . and things like that, plug-ins etc..... using the program called activity monitor from the Utilities folder will show all 'active processes'.....

Take care woof woof .....TP

I have had the same problem of itunes not launching.

Personally, I believe there is a conflict with my digi design software pro tools, only because I know there is a conflict with Quick Time 7 and Pro Tools, and my itunes problem reared it's head around the same time the QT7 problem, did.

I have been spending all sorts of money and time trying to solve this problem today, with no luck.

Any ideas?
