In order to solve a problem I'm having with Windows Media Player, I need to reset the DRM licenses on my computer. Will I still be able to play the songs I've purchased from the iTunes store after I've done this, or is there some way to renew the rights without buying the music again?
Not sure what this has to do with iTunes since you say WMP is the problem. Anyway, I would deauthorize your computer for your iTunes purchases, before doing anything like this. When you're done, simply reauthorize the computer.
I have the same DRM problem. I reset DRM for WMP and now cannot sync my iTunes purchases with my iPod. Did you have the same problem and if so, any fix for it?
I've tried de-authorizing and re-authorizing it a few times.
Would it make a different if we use three different iTunes accounts to download stuff on the same computer? Would each account need to authorize the same computer?
Absolutely, yes. Any purchase MUST be authorized under the account that was used to purchase the music. You can't use a different account to authorize from the original account that purchased the download.
