No, but there is a way to sync data (contact information and calendar events) between the Palm Desktop and a supported application on your computer that is required for syncing this data with an iPhone.
I am surprised Apple doesn't supply a tool to import Palm users without using Outlook and stuff. Just straight from Palm software. Even wireless like Palm to Palm worked (memos, addressbooks, etc.). 😟
Probably because there are probably many more Windows users that use Outlook than the Palm Desktop, and there is already a method to sync the Palm Desktop with Outlook on a PC, so no need to waste resources developing support for a platform that is on the way out anyway.
Dang. That is going to be a problem to migrate/import datas. Oh well, I guess he will have to input everything from scratch and manually. I guess the only last quick way to find a supported machine like Mac OS X, XP, or Vista and hotsynch from there.
Will 3G be the same? And oops earlier, I meant to say 680, not 650 but then both are identical.
+PC with USB 2.0 port+
+Windows Vista; or Windows XP Home or Professional with Service Pack 2 or later+
+iTunes 7.7 or later+
This also means an iTunes update is on the way - 7.7, which will include support for the iTunes App Store to download and install 3rd party software on an iPhone or iPod Touch running firmware 2.0.
