Best Equalizer Settings? (hard rock ,classics, bluegrass)

Hi out there,

I once got very good equalizer settings from this discussion forum, unfortunately, they went to nirwana after a complete clean sweep of my beloved powerbook.
Any idea where it came from? I remember, it came from a guy from big apple.

You might try using the search box at the top of the "Using iTunes" main page with the keywords "equalizer settings".

Due to the volume of posts here and relatively limited server space, even the good solutions get pushed off after a few months.

this is by far the best setting I've ever tried, funny enough, it works very well on my powerbook but much less good on a windowz laptop. Well, it may be the speakers performance.

Tangram,

this one has been posted by macmenno:

Select all songs in your playlist (command-A)
Get info (command-I)
Read the warning
Click Yes
Choose Equalizer Preset Set to R&B Click OK

and you're done

Beware!! don't tick any checkbox. You might mess up your other info.

I tried it and it worked like a charm.

Thanks for that. So I guess the answer is not, only Apple EQ settings are kept on the iPod but you can 'embed' your own on individual tracks or for that matter your whole library.....but obviously this will update your whole library.
