IPP over https?

Hello All-
Does anybody know if Leopard supports ip printing (IPP) over SSL? Printer instances on my print server are referenced by my Windows and Unix clients as https://printers.myhost.com/printers/Laser1/.printer. I cannot figure out if OS X can do IPP over https.

in the office i work part time, I connect to the RHEL 4 server using;

http://192.168..**:631/printers/<printer name>

As for the SSL (https), I would assume that would work, if the SysAdmin set it up to work.

Leopard does support IP printing over SSL. While you set up the printer, simply add the TLS/SSL Port "443" to the ip-address/host-name and mention the correct queue. The resulting URI will use the IPP Syntax, e.g. ipp://:443/, but this shouldn't make a difference.
