Cant stay connected.

Question

Cant stay connected.

I cant seem to stay connected to the internet. I have dsl and a linksys wireless router. It will stay connected for awhile then it cuts off and I have to go unplug the linksys router and plug it back up. Its random on how long it stays connected and is really frustrating. please help.

Hi, and a warm welcome to the forums! 🙂

Make sure the Linksys has the latest firmware update, don't trust what it came with, or even the automatic firmware update notifier.

Another thing to try is seitching it's channel to another frequency.

BD has some good points. Which Linksys is it? I found that by changing the channel from the preset 6 to channel 9 I got rid of the drop outs.
