iPhoto slideshow to iDVD--sound missing

i've been working on this for 2 days, and i finally got my iphoto slideshow into a theme, complete with drop zones in iDVD. my music starts at the theme; but when i 'play' my slideshow, there is no music. i have been working with the iPhoto forum friends and they suggested i try here......
i really appreciate this forum and any help you can give me
thanks Donna

hi,thanks for your help! i added the audio to the slideshow in iPhoto. it is for my neice's highschool graduation. she put a few of her favorite songs on a CD and i loaded the CD into my computer and put them in my iTunes library under music. then put them in the slideshow like the directions tell you to do. they are still on my computer when i look at 'audio' in iDVD, and i moved them into the theme menu that i chose, and they play during the theme menu, but when i start the video, there is no sound. i've tried dragging the tunes into the iDVD movie, like i dragged them into the theme menu, but it doesn't work. i think i read in 'help' that once i've imported a slideshow from iPhoto to iDVD, i will not be able to make any changes to it .. maybe i need to try exporting it again? i appreciate your help

hey .... SUCCESS !
it wasn't the export, i don't think .. this time when i clicked on the "+" button, i chose 'add movie' ... other times i chose 'add slideshow' , since in my mind that's what i was doing. i think that was the difference.
one more thing ... how do i delete all those projects i created that don't work ?
thanks so much for everyone's help!

All you have to do is drag them to the trash and empty. I believe the default location for them will be in the Documents folder. Or search for the project name in spotlight to find their location.

Another way to find their location is to open one and Control-click on the project title at the top of the iDVD window. A drop down menu will appear with the path to the project file.

ok, thanks ... they are in the trash, but i was still seeing them on the "File>Open Recent" menu. ... i clicked 'clear menu' and now they're gone 🙂
i'm really learning a lot. i understand that the scientists have discovered that we actually CAN build new brain cells our entire life. to do this, we just need to do a different activity,... learn something new or even drive a different way to the store. i figure i've expanded my brain two-fold the last few days 🙂 ... and i'll continue. i worked on a project in iDVD last night ... sure wish you could get the Ken Burns effect creating a slideshow in iDVD without exporting one from iPhoto.
thanks, again for everyone's help! ... i reserve the right to return with more questions tho 🙂
