Issues with windows updates, unable to install certain updates

Hello, I have been having some big issues with installing a majority of windows xp updates.

Here are the updates i cannot install.

*Windows Internet Explorer 7 for Windows XP*
*Security Update for Flash Player (KB923789)*
*Update for Windows XP (KB942763)*
*Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 6 for Windows XP (KB950759)*
*Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool - June 2008 (KB890830)*
*Cumulative Security Update for ActiveX Killbits for Windows XP (KB950760)*
*Security Update for Windows XP (KB950762)*
*Security Update for Windows XP (KB951376)*
*Security Update for Windows XP (KB951698)*

My dad is also having the same issues with his mac book pro on boot camp. So i know it isnt just me.

Anyone know anything about these sort of issues?
