Safari 3.1.2 pkg download issue

Safari 3.1.2 pkg download issue

When I am installing Safari 3.1.2, it says that my Macintosh HD is too old to install 3.1.2 and that I need Mac OSX 10.5.2 atleast. However, when I open "About this Mac", it says I have Mac OSX 10.5.3 What is wrong and how do I fix this problem?

MacBook 2.16 GHz Core 2 Duo, Mac OS X (10.5.3), 1 GB RAM, 120 GB Hard Drive+iPod Touch 8 GB

There's no Safari 3.1.2 for OS X. The latest version for OS X is Safari 3.1.1. Nevertheless. you're in the Windows-forum for Safari 😉.

My SW Update indeed says there's a 3.1.2. But if ya go to apple>downloads>safari, it only shows 3.1.1. But, if ya do a search at downloads, 3.1.2 shows up. Weird. Anyhow, if you're trying to download at Apple.com, you're probly getting a PPC or Windoz update and it's not working. I'd just go back to SW Update and do it that way instead. HTH

If you install Mac OS 10.5.4, then you will get Safari 3.1.2 with this update 😉
