PhotoShop has an unexpected & unrecoverable problem that won't let it start
Upon start up and after it loads Photoshop posts 2 error messages, "An unexpected and unrecoverable problem has occurred because something prevnted the text engine from being initialized. Photoshop will exit now. & An unexpected and unrecoverablel problem has occurred. Photoshop will now exit. Photoshop says after we reloaded the program twice that it is a Mac problem. I tried setting up another account and it pulls up fine on my other account.

Then you should try trashing your Photoshop preferences. Otherwise, since PS is not an Apple product you'd probably want to post your question on Adobe's own discussion forums, as they would be geared more toward the issue than an Apple forum:
But if it works on one account and not the other, then it's not a "Mac" problem...because it does work. Your PS preferences are probably corrupt. Trash them, reboot and see what happens.
I don't have any preferences since I dumped PS and reloaded it, it won't let me start it up to do anything. After finally dumping the system twice and reloading it Adobe had me set up another account which PS starts up in, no problem. I explained the problem to phone help at Mac and they suggested this forum before I paid them for support. They will probably just have me dump my entire system and I would prefer not to do that. Unfortunately I can't pull up my files from my main account or I would just use it under my other account name.
I went into my Library dumped CS2 Settings file, emptied the trash and rebooted, same problem. I rechecked to CS2 Settings and it shows up again so I assume it reloads. However it didn't clear up the problem. Any other suggestions, I appreciate the help.
