Ok, another question: Here are my settings, try the same if you could to see what I'm talking about,
*Test Osc*: Pink noise set at -3db (because it seems to be jumping above to +3db when set to 0db) This is on Audio Track 1.
So I'm trying to see how flat the Pink Noise actually is.
So...
*Multi-meter and Channel EQ* (on master track). I have the EQ set to Analyze the "pre EQ" frequencies of the pink noise. The graph on this, compared to the Multi-meter graph don't quite match up. Shouldn't they be giving me the same reading dB wise.
What I see: The Channel EQ (set to 0db output) is sloping down from Left to Right. 20 Hz jumping to about +15 db and 20,000 Hz dipping to about -45db.
However the multimeter seems to be giving me a "fairly" flat reading visually compared to the channel EQ. The 250 Hz and below area seems to actually dip a little lower than the mids and highs on the multimeter. Why is the Channel EQ so drastically different from the Multi-meter. Which one is more accurate, or am I naive and don't understand what I'm looking at?
I hope this makes sense to someone.
Thanks
