Does older iPhone have worse cameras?

Hi,

I recently noticed that my iPhone (which I bought on July 2007) had worse camera than the iPhones that were purchased at a later date. The pictures looked more blurry and couldn't capture something that was emitting light. Also although my iPhone seemed to have better contrast ratio, the newer iPhone's LCD seemed much more brighter.

Has anyone noticed this or experienced similar situations?

I have noticed the screens on the more recent iPhones are brighter. My friend had his replaced and we compared my phone purchased when the phones were first available and his newer phone. The images on his and the overall screen brightness/clarity were much better. I don't know what changes exactly were made, but certainly there were some.

my friend has a refurb iphone and i bought a new one and his screen is less clear as mine and his loudspeaker is horrible we play the same songs and his speakers sounded really bad and its not on full volume..but camera quality looks the same
