Group Delete Photos in iPhone?

How do I delete a lot of photos on my iphone? I have taken several images that I want to delete. Do I have to delete them one at the time, or is there a way to select several and then do a delete? Is there a way to use iphoto or aperture to do this?

I, too, am searching for answers to this. I have 250+ photos that were imported into iPhoto, but when it asked if I wanted to delete them, I selected NO. Now, I have no way to delete them except to do it one-at-a-time. ****.

I would definitely like to see files on the phone through the finder. I suspect the arrival of 2.0 software could answer the problem. In the meantime.... delete .... delete ... delete ...

Solution found here:
http://freeiphoner.com/how-to-delete-camera-roll-photos-from-iphone/

Quit iPhoto. Open Image Capture and choose the “Download Some…” option. You will then see all of your pictures stored in the Camera Roll on the iPhone. Select one or a range or even all of the photos you wish to remove, and choose Edit -> Delete. The selected photo(s) will be removed from the iPhone.

If you want to see something fun, with your iPhone plugged into your Mac, go look at the Camera Roll of pictures on the phone itself. Use the thumbnail index view. Then, when you use Image Capture.app to delete the pictures, you see them disappear one by one very quickly from the iPhone screen.

don't know if anyone has said this yet...
FOR ALL YOU PC USERS...
Plug in your iPhone to your USB port.
Open "Computers", then under portable devices click "Apple iPhone", then "Internal Storage", then there should be all the folders with your pictures. Delete any that you wish to delete, then VOILA!

Hope this helps, and if someone has already said this, SORRY 🙂

One thing as a workaround that I have found has worked is:

1. Import the Pictures using Scanner and Camera Wizard. Make sure to not check the "Delete Photos after Copying" checkbox

2. Close the Scanner and Camera Wizard

3. Open My Computer, Right-Click Apple iPhone and select Explore

4. Right click a SINGLE picture (just one) and select Delete\

5. Then try selecting more. I was able to select 9 pics at a time to delete...would have tried more, but ran out of pictures to delete 🙂
