Q: FCS Remover

1. I need to uninstall Final Cut Studio 2 from my macbook pro. Is it safe to do it with the FCS Remover app.

2. Because what I need to do is to make a custom installation, so that I can save hard drive space on my macbook pro. I just want FCPro working... no libraries, no motion, no nothing. Just FCPro.

3. Will it work ok with HD 1080i60 videos?

thanks for the help

I don't feel it worked well for me. I feel your best bet is to wipe your harddrive and start over with a new installation of everything. It would be really nice if Apple included an uninstaller.

Deleting portions is tricky because, as I understand it, finalcut's filters are shared with motion at the least.

You can certainly drag the apps you won't use to the trash and get rid of the loops you will not use. Also, everything related to DVD studio pro.

You will probably need motion filters but not their templates.
