Home movies do not sync

Question

Home movies do not sync

I imported some home made movies into iTunes, then connected to AppleTV and chose customized sync, selected movies. I check the movies I want to sync, click apply and then sync. Some of my home made movies (all MPEG4), have a blue dot in front of them. These are the ones that do not sync! How come?

G4, Mac OS X (10.5)

They may be MP4 but the there are various factors (bitrate, frames, etc) of a MP4 file and the AppleTV doesn't play all formats. The AppleTV Specs page here on the site lists the requirements for video files.

Thanks. I checked my movies and they are H.264 compressed but 1920x1080 at 30fps which is too high for AppleTV. I found a the way to convert them via Advanced> Convert to AppleTV.
