GIMP Volume refuses to eject.

I recently made an attempt to install Gimp on my mac. Didn't really work, things got complicated and I decided to use MS paint instead. ^_^ It got the job done faster than finagling.

Anyway, now I have a gimp volume sitting on my desktop and it wont go away. Each time I try to eject it, it says that quote

" *The Disk 'GIMP' is in use and could not be ejected.*
Try quitting applications and try again. "

After closing all applications, it still does not work. What's going on?
