iPod Touch Freezing

My iPod touch keeps freezing every time i try to use anything wifi or internet related. It works fine until i try to open up either safari, maps, or weather. it works fine until i try to type something and the keyboard pops up and i can type a little bit but either during or after typing and pressing enter the whole ipod freezes. Is there anything i can do to fix this problem. I have tried resetting and restoring the ipod.

When you restored the iPod, did you restore from backup or set up as new? If you restored from backup try restoring again, and this time do not restore from backup. This will eliminate corrupted/damaged files as the issue.

If you're still having the issue after the restore, you'd want to have Apple assess the hardware. You can set up a Mac Genius appointment at your local Apple store here ( http://apple.com/retail) or you can call AppleCare.
