Mouse Speed at Login

I have a really fast mouse tracking speed set for my account. However before I login on the login screen page the mouse is deathly slow. How can I adjust the moust tracking speed at the login page?

"CAN'T" is not a word in my dictionary. But you gave me an idea. Each account has its own library folder which I'm guessing is where it is stored. If I can find and replace on the System Library I should be good. Plus I know the login interface is customizable according to apple. They tell you how to insert a disclosure at the top of the login box if you so desire.

P.S. I cannot use keys but nice suggestion.

I just tried this and it worked for me (running OS X Tiger 10.4.11):

1) Open a Terminal window

2) Type "sudo su", then enter your password to gain root privileges.

3) Type "cp Library/Preferences/.GlobalPreferences.plist /var/root/Library/Preferences" to copy your user preferences to the root user.

I'll try this on my Leopard system when I get home tonight and post here to let you know how it goes.
