How do I burn DAO or SAO

How do I burn DAO or SAO

Intel Mini, Tiger

I want to burn a .iso file. It should be done DAO or SAO. I believe the default is TAO. The About Mac says:

Any idea on how I can enforce DAO or SAO on a CD?

Burn the file with Disk Utility. It handles ISO disk images.

Yes, I know. But which format does it use? TAO or SAO? Can I get DAO?

Well I would hope so. But DAO is not a write strategy (see first post) option of CD-R... only DVD. So maybe it is using SAO? Maybe it knows that iso files should be done DAO or SAO?

Anyone know how this works in Apple. On Linux systems the user gets to choose what format they want in a burn.

Unless you tell Disk Utility to leave the CD appendable, it will just burn one session, so SAO and DAO will be the same thing. DVDs don't support multiple sessions, so just use DAO, not SAO.
TAO is not used by OSX.
