Unable to edit song information

Hello.

I just imported my previous music library XML into a new iTunes library, and for some reason now I cannot edit any information.

I assumed that it was an issue with one of the files being ready only, but everything looks fine.

Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this?

Brian hello,

try using file command 'add to library' and choose the folder with the data files

Actually, it was a simple fix. There were some permissions issues with the music folder, which I remedied, and now all is well.
