DVD doesn't play on Microsoft computers, only on Apple computer & DVDplayer

When I burn a DVD using DVD Studio Pro4 I can play it on my MacBook Pro and my DVD player, but not on my Microsoft computer. Do I need to change something in the settings when I edit the film/ transform it to a Quicktime Movie file, compress the file or burn it to DVD?? Or do I need to download a certain Mediaplayer for my microsoft (Windows XP) computer in order to play my DVDs?

If you're using Windows Media Player on the Windows system for playback, try another player. Windows Media Player isn't very good for DVD playback.

Thank you very much for your help! I downloaded PowerDVD and now I'm able to play the DVD I burned with DVD Pro on my Windows XP computer!
