Best in car stereo head unit compatible with iphone

Can anyone recommend a car stereo head unit for use with the iphone that basically streams the iphone music and calls through the car speakers. Surely there must be a usb and bluetooth enabled head unit that can do this?
thanks

iphone, Windows Vista

There are a number of headunits that work can connect to ipod/iphone via a cable and also have bluetooth for hands free.

My personal favorite won't be out until August 1st. It is Parrot's RK8200.

It will be ~$230.

Alpine also has some of the best ipod/iphone compatible devices on the market. They range in price from ~$150-400. Unfortunately, their bluetooth box is an extra $200 and doesn't work very well.

any head unit(i have an Alpine...and i like it) that has bluetooth and iPod capabilities should work...although, as of right now, in order to use both, you need to answer "NO" for airplane mode when it asks...when this happens, you will get interference through your speakers from the iPhone(unless your equipment is shielded properly), which stinks, but if you turn the radio volume up(which we all should do!!), it will drown out the interference...if you choose "YES" you lose the bluetooth function and you cant use it as a phone

I have the JVC KD-BTI ( http://www.crutchfield.com/S-V9ivCNGsUHJ/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?i=105KDBT1). Whats good about this is first the price which I believe is cheap and secondly you do not have to buy another piece to sync your phone and head unit. It works fine for me and pairs well. My phone book comes right up on the screen and sound is clear.

I do not believe you can stream music via bluetooth to your radio. However you can get an adapter (see here http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?i=105KDBT1&tp=5684&tab=oth er_items&viewAll=True)

But remember that different cars have different configurations to the radio so you must get one that fits your car.
