Auto-Fill in Email address line

Is there a way to clear or turn off auto-fill in the email address line. I send lots of email and all the email addresses I have sent to start trying to autofill as soon as i start typing. Is there a way to turn off auto-fill or at least clear all of the saved addresses so i dotn have so many?

I tried turning auto-fill off in laptop email prefs, clearing all cache, syncing and doing a soft reset, all to no avail. The typo'ed address still shows up on my iphone. After sending to the correct address, the wrong address was demoted one line in the auto-fill, but that's all. Any one having luck clearing a bum address out of the iphone email cache?

I'm having the same issue. I have an old email address I want to delete from the "previously sent email cache" and not sure how to do it, or if it's even possible.

You can clear Safari's cache on iPhone but not Mail.app's it seems. (you can in OS X though)

There should be a clear cache option in Prefs, no?

Maybe on the next update?

I'm sure it's pretty low on the list for Apple.
