How to view backup iPhone notes on my Mac?

Hi, I have several notes on my iPhone but I have not been able to figure out how to view them on my Mac or back them up to my Mac. I am planning to buy the new 3G iPhone but I don't want to have to re-type all of my notes. Also, is there any way to backup weblinks from the Home Page of my iPhone?

Fernando Gottlieb,

When you connect a new iPhone, an iPhone that has had all settings and content erased through Settings, or been restored you have an option to load data from the backup.

The backup includes the notes, and would be loaded on the phone in this situation.

This article has more information on what is included in backups:

Hope this helps,

There are no legal apps for syncing notes ... yet.

To get around this, I email each note to myself whenever I think of it, thus creating a backup of the notes that changed. That way, I can see my notes on my Mac.

I have NOT tried mobileme yet, the 99$ a year service from Apple. Perhaps it has note syncing included. There is no technical reason why notes cannot be synced, they sit in a little database on the iphone.
