Gingerbread Man in MacMail header

How do you get rid of the gingerbread man in the header of an email that is sent through Mac Mail? The icon appears when the message is being written and in the email that is received from the sender, and I want to gone.

It is local only and it is the image you added to yoru card in the address book - to remove it remove it from your card in the address book - it does not go anywhere - only displays on your local computer

Thank you, I was able to remove the Gingerbread Icon by opening up my Addressbook, selecting "Card" from the top menu, and clicking on "Clear Custom Image" from the drop down menu.
