Really, you should read the manual, especially the entire book on the plugins.

For something that started off as a $15 shareware program, they've done a remarkable job of marketing & development.

I guess if you're into that particular genre, it offers a lot of tools.
I'd never use it although the demo was fun to mess around with, there's some flashy stuff that reminds of the old MOD trackers.

I am not sure whether you would like to use excatly the same bass pattern as in Youtube video. Just in case, you may wish to check Broomstick Bass software by Bornemark. It is a steal at the current price level at 48 euros (approx. 77 US). It would enable you to use any variety of basses as well as various midi patterns to play bass line in any project in Logic. The bass line sounds incredibly professional.
