Reportedly Xact can convert Monkey's Audio files. I've also seen one report that Sound Converter also can, but I don't see that format listed on their web site. If you have access to a Windows system or Virtual PC, there are a number of Windows tools for converting that format.

You could probably use this on your Windows computer: http://www.monkeysaudio.com/download.html ... That might be able convert APE to WAV and then you can import that WAV into iTunes and convert it to MP3. I never used it though so I can't guarantee for it to work but it's worth a shot.

Transcoding from APE to WAV has absolutely NO quality loss. It actually sounds better than the MP3 version of a CD.
