Iphone 2.0 Update?

the thing is that they don't realy care about who already have an iphone ,and they just want to sell the new one's.

I don't know if this is helpful but I'm here in Texas and after clicking like about 9 times on the update part of the iphone summary page in itunes and it said that I needed to download iTunes 7.7 before the update is available to me. So it offers to download itunes 7.7 and it will then offer to download iphone's 2.0 software.

Phone works, but can't sync to iTunes anymore. It shows up on the left, then says connecting to itunes on the Mac. Phone goes back to normal display, doesn't say it's synching. iPhoto wants to synch pictures. Ideas?

Same. iPhone connected to iTunes, iTunes trying to connect to Music Store, and the phone is fully functional (no syncing message) so I can use the phone normally at this moment.

I wonder what would happen if I do an iphone restore from my phone, then connect back to iTunes?? In a few minutes I may try that.

Actually, if you right click on the iphone and tell it to synch, it will. Wierd.

And, it installed my APPS! Happy day! Maybe this will help some of you folks trapped in connecting to itunes land.

K I'm in Glendale Arizona and the time is 6:33 its telling me 2.0 is avalable there's one problem tho I have dial up

i have been accessing the itunes store for over 15 mins ... ughhh

I would think this bug is in the iTunes software. Since we can right-click sync, it doesn't appear to be a problem syncing. The issue is when the phone is connected, it doesn't sync and rather than showing you the summary of your iphone, name, serial number, etc. it tries to connect to the music store, which I can't see why it would want to. So maybe an iTunes update is coming to fix this soon?? Or maybe the 2.0 software isn't sending the right message to iTunes software? Hopefully it gets fixed, or at least determined the actual cause.
