Accessing iTunes Store

You can eject the iPhone from iTunes and download, install and start using iPhone apps by visiting the App Store on the iPhone instead of waiting for iTunes "Accessing iTunes Store..."

so, I'm stuck on Accessing iTunes Store as well. If I select the iTunes Store on the left of itunes, it connects no problem. Select the iphone, however, and it goes right back to trying to access the itunes store. I suspect that is part of the update/activation process, as it doesn't even show the initial tabbed pane to select sync options, nor does it say my name's iphone, it just says iPhone.

Yes Kathylee there seems to be an overload at the itunes server understandably. When you get to the point that it says "Accessing iTunes Store..." you can eject your iPhone and browse, install and start using iPhone apps from the App Store on your iPhone. I would suggest connecting your iPhone to iTunes later in the day when the servers have had a chance to clear their bottleneck.
