iPhone 2.0 - "Accessing iTunes Store. . ." FOREVER

During the iPhone 2.0 upgrade my iTunes CAN NOT connect to the iTunes store. I flushed my DNS, restarted iTunes, restarted my phone. . .etc, etc. Stubbled upon a thread suggesting reinstalling iTunes. I uninstalled iTunes. . .BUT THE ITUNES DOWNLOAD PAGE IS BROKEN. So I can't download iTunes now.

Same thing is happening to me. The 2.0 upgrade seemed to go fine, but whenever I plug the phone into my mac, itunes launches, and the itunes store page refreshes, but the progress bar at the top of iTunes says "Accessing iTunes Store" indefintely. I am unable to select anything within itunes. I am able to quit itunes and relaunch with the same result.

I have reboot both the iPhone and my Mac with the same result.

Anybody have any thoughts/solutions?

Now they are trying to shift blame to the users by stating that they cannot create a secure connection. They want the users to waste time checking their internet settings to ensure that they are using SSL v3 or TLS 1. If Apple has been operating at SSL v2 for all of this time and just switched over, they picked a heck of a time to do it.

And you wonder why big business does not trust Apple. Apple will always be a boutique business until it stops placing style over support.
