iTunes won't recognise cd

iTunes won't recognise cd

It's this certain cd...When I put it on my computer, nothing happens. I've already tried dragging the contents of the CD onto iTunes, but it doesn't work.

Hi Matt

It could be that this specific CD is Copy Controlled.
Look at the back of the CD case, it should contain some small printed info regarding this, and some sort of Copy Control logo. (EMI, Sony have it).

I'm running into this problem also. iTunes doesn't even see my cd/dvd drives, dragging a cd into iTunes doesn't work, and I have no options for iTunes when r-clicking on the drive. I've uninstalled and re-installed iTunes 4 times now and even removed Easy CD Creator in case there was some weird conflict there.

The drives are a Plextor DVDR PX-712A and a Plextor DVDR PX-716A. I'm running WinXP Pro (fully updated), both drives have the latest firmware.

Anyone have any suggestions?
