StarDeb55, I have a similar problem. I have a work computer with a CD burner and a personal computer with itunes but no burner. I was able to plug my ipod into my work computer, show hidden music files, and burn a CD of only my mp3 music files via roxio software. It was easy, I just dragged and dropped. However, I could not load any AAC files. Your solution above won't work for me because I cannot burn an audio CD on my personal computer. Can I buy music from the iTunes music store that I can burn on a seperate computer? Can I turn the protected AAC format into a format more compatable like mp3 without having to burn to a seperate audio CD?

Hey guys,
I didn't used to have this problem at all. I used to burn all my music that i buy online to CDs and make a playlist for my car.

Last night i tried to make a new collection from things I just bought, but it will not burn the protected songs anymore.

I am really ****** right now! I paid all this money and I can't freaken burn me a CD to play in my car?!!

Elgamal, please start a new topic for your issue with burning. When you post in the middle of someone else's topic like you have done, you frequently get your post ignored. It is also more courteous to the original poster not to disrupt their topic with a similar but unrelated issue. Thanks.

Besides you have posted in a thread that is started 3 months ago, if i hadn't gotten the e-mail notification about your post, you would have been overlooked.

You're going to have to be a little more specific than "you can't burn CD's now". We need to know EXACTLY what's going on. You need to post what your type of computer you have & the OS, what version of iTunes your using, any error codes or messages you may be getting. You need to include just exactly what type of files you are trying to burn, purchased vs. playlists of your own CD's.
Without the above information, no one in these forums will have any CLUE as to what needs to be done to help you. I'm sorry but none of us read minds as to what might be happening in your specifci situation.

Hi There,
I posted on this thread because it seemed to be the same topic. I've started a new thread before and people said "there are threads about this topic" so I thought people will be happy if I found an existing similar thread and just added my question to it.

Anyways, can't make everyone happy, can I ? I'll just start a new thread.

Thanks.
J.
