Ported number not receiving calls?

It's neither normal or wrong. I have heard of them porting within hours, I have heard people waiting days.

If you can make calls and not receive, give it another day... then call AT&T.

It's a lot more complicated than you think. There is a lot of routing on every number called every day. It's not a simple "this number goes to this phone". It's how it's routed to through many systems. If you really knew how advanced a cellphone call is just to connect you, $70 sounds cheap.

So switched from Sprint to ATT and they ported my number over.. I get sporadic tx's going and coming going.. I do get ATT tx's and it seems like i don't get other providers right now.. I get phone calls in and out also.. Think it is stuck lol?

A lot of it has to do with your previous provider. It's how numbers are routed, and the probably haven't handed it over totally to AT&T yet.

I've got the same issue as you. Who did you call? AT&T?

I'm not Shaun but...yes, you need to call AT&T. You can call 611 on your iPhone and they'll connect you up to the right people.

I had the same problem and I called att and they forced the port to finish. It was pending and as soon as they did that the phone worked fine.
