Sony DRU-810A DOES NOT PLAY CD's With iTunes
I bought a sony external drive and iTunes does not play the songs. I can see the title of the song but when I go to play all it does is run through the song list and will not play anything. Same things when I go to burn CD's to my computer, all it burns is the a small file for each song that does not contain any music information. Here is the CD diag information

If you have multiple drives on the same IDE or SCSI bus, these drives may interfere with each other.
Some computers need an update to the ATA or IDE bus driver, or Intel chipset. If iTunes has problems recognizing CDs or hanging or crashing while importing or burning CDs, check the support site for the manufacturer of your computer or motherboard.
Check the Windows Update website to verify that you have the latest service packs and patches for your OS. Service packs affect the performance of USB and firewire CD / DVD drives.
