Cleanapp daemon

I installed the program called "Cleanapp" several months ago. I find that it frequently hogs a great deal of processor capacity. I can temporarily stop it using the Activity Monitor, but it often springs back to life again. I'd like to uninstall it, but I can't find the application in my Application folder--or anywhere else (using Spotlight to search for it). In Win, the Add/Remove programs lists everything that you once installed. Does anyone know a way of discovering how to remove Cleanapp from my Mac? Has anyone had any experience with Cleanapp, good or bad?
