Using IPHONE as a remote

has any one tried REMOTE application for the iphone in apple store yet. I downloaded the application on my phone and i m trying to pair it with my computer so i can share my itunes library at my wish. I have not been able to pair my iphone and itunes for this application.
Any help in this would be greatly appreciated

You might want to go back to the forum category page, and look under application installation, maybe someone might be able to help you there.

Make sure you have your phone's Wifi on. If you recently downloaded 2.0, it is shut off. Both your computer (or Apple TV) and phone need to be on the same Wifi.

When they are, the "REMOTE" Iphone Icon will be in the device list.

It is labeled, Iphone, which can be confusing.

I installed the Remote Application as soon as I read the description and must say that it is awesome to be able to control iTunes from my phone. I just have to run some speaker wire to a few rooms in the house and then I can listen to my library from anywhere I'm hanging out. Only thing I noticed is that it couldn't find my library, but after reselecting it, all worked fine. One of the better things to come out of the 2.0 Update.
