I see dozens of people having probelsm with the new iTunes 6.0 (and 5.0) and getting error 2122. Well, I am getting error 2123. When I try to burn a disc, iTunes checks the playlist, then attempts to start burning, spits out my blank disc and says "Unknown Error 2123".
Can anyone help? I have already updated both of my drivers, and I have a Toshiba driver that came with my Dell Dimension 4600.
I get the exact same message and it ejects my dis. I have a Samsung CD/RW burner that came with my eMachine T3065. I have't called apple yet but I think that is what I will do because my iPod is still under the apple care program.
I have had exactly the same error since upgrading to v5 then v6 with no change. I have a samsung burner but this is clearly a itunes issue. it is noit hardware/driver related. several emails to apple with no response, what stellar support. Not even an admission that it is a problem and they are working on it.
Please keep me in this loop as well. I'm right there with both of you -- same history, same error messages, same Dell/Samsung setup. What's ridiculous is that I am a prospective Apple buyer -- and this lack of support is really putting me off their products.
We get this same message too. We have a compaq presario - Windows XP. E-mailed Apple support and all I got back was links to their generic burning problem solutions on the website. E-mailed back that these solutions do not apply and haven't heard back from Apple so far. Tried speaking to Microsoft but they have no clue. It definitely seems to be something with Itunes -- started after updating to 5.0 and has not been solved with 6.0
Really would like to be able to burn CD's with Itunes again like we did before. Has anyone tried getting rid of 6.0 and re-installing 4.9? Does it work? What is correct procedure for doing it?
