Join the club! Every time I go to close the SOB it freezes and I have to do an end process. Which *****, because I'm worried about loosing all my changes I've made. And the best part is, I noticed when I sync my iPod to it, I have to do it twice to make sure all my songs have made it on there correctly. Example: I purchased 2 songs to add to my other 3 from a specific album. So I plug my iPod in, it does it's business, and I think I'm all set! WRONG! I go to listen to the songs and low and behold, they are not even on there!!!!! So I had to sync all over again.
Apple you are by far the worst company for prematurely releasing a product! I was considering purchasing a MacBook Pro but, I'm done with that thought. I have yet to buy something from my Apple Store that I haven't needed to take back at least 3 or 4 times. Once, I even spent 2 hours there why the so-called "tech guy" ran his tests. But the real reason he chose to do this, was to prove that my Dell Notebook was the cause of my iPod malfunction. His co-worker had to finally tell him to give it up. But mind you this came, after he repeatedly bashed my laptop. I've had this baby for over a year and it has not given me any issues. Yet I had my iPod classic for less then a month and I had to take it into get it replaced! Nice huh?
I guess the only way to get around this mess would be to save my music and re-load the previous version that actually worked for me. The issue with that is, I will have to rebuild all my play lists from scratch because you can't import a newer library into an older version of iTunes. Too bad iTunes is so easy to use, when it works mind you, and the only thing compatible for my iPod because I'd be going back to my Media Player so fast.
