Restore 8GB iPod Touch

My original computer has crashed and I have forgotten what my 4 digit code is, how do I restore my 8GB iPod touch back to factory settings so I can start all over? Any help is greatly appreciated!

I am unable to do a restore through itunes because the computer I first used has recently crashed. My iPod is now disabled because of too many attempts trying to figure out my 4 digit code. Now I get a message saying 'iPod is disabled, please connect to iTunes.' When I connect my iPod to my new computer, it only says, 'Can't connect, please enter your 4 digit code.' What is the next step I can take to do a 'RESTORE' back to factory settings?
