Hi. I have an iPod Touch+a Windows Vista computer. I have never had any problems buying anything from iTunes, but since I updated my iPod to the 2.0 software, it is not letting me download any apps and keeps saying cannot process the request, error code 1009. What does this mean? What am I doing wrong? I want to buy some apps and it is not letting me. It gives me the same problem on the app store application on the iPod Touch also. Help please!
i do have 7.7 downloaded...I wouldn't be able to install 2.0 on my iPod if I didn't have it. I've been searching everywhere, but no solution whatsoever. Someone please help, I'm going nuts!
First: You should be posting at the iPod touch forum. That said, you can try restoring the ipod and reinstalling the 2.0 update to see if that clears it up.
I'm a relatively new iPhone user and am experiencing the same problem you had a while ago (can't download apps - getting error code 1009). Were you ever able to solve the problem, and if so can you please let me know what the secret is? This is a bit frustrating.
I was wondering what happened to your problem cause almost everywhere I saw your threats regarding this. I have iPhone 3g and live in Sweden. But a friend of mine lives in Iran and now he's facing to same problem but with a bit difference. The difference is that you know in Iran, there is no Apple Store, so all iPhones there are unlocked and jailbroken and so on. Now he has bought one. I have no idea how does it work there, but it seems he is facing to same problem (error code: 1009). after my long story I'm just wondered if your problem solved while you were back in Iran and if so, How?
