AppleMobileDeviceHelper has stopped working

I having the same issue and it is driving me crazy. Surely someone out there has a fix for this.

Same problem as well. I tried reinstalling all the software and still nothing. Please help!

I am having the same problem as well and it's driving me crazy. I can't do anything with the iphone or computer because of this stupid message someone out there please help. I tried to remove the program but it made me reinstall the whole thing and it just repeated itself.

same issue with itunes and vista.. i am uninstalling the mobile device helper. I will let oyu know how it goes

that did it, the message is gone... I am curious to see if my iphone will still work..

Sounds like the unistall may be a band aide, but I am guessing the iPhone I ordered yesterday will require that piece of the software.

i tried uninstalling the actual mobile device helper program on its own but after doing that.the messages stopped but when i connect ipod it doesnt open up in itunes source panal so it cant be worked on...its a total nightmare bud..mail me if ya get a solution..itunes is a pain and not very much enjoyment im finding.more hassle than enjoyment..anddavbyg@msn.com

did u find yr ipod wldnt open up in tunes after doing that though???

According to this article, iphones & itouch need that AMD program.

I uninstalled AMD and my ipods get recognized without problems.

Wow!! That totally worked, by enabling run as administrator. Now if you tell me why the "dotmacsyncclient has stopped working" keeps coming up with the mobileme sync installed on my Vista laptop, I'll be happy.
