extend linksys wrt300n network with Airport Express
is it possible to connect the airport express to the linksys wrt300n i got it connected to the 54g. i called linksys and they said that there are no good extenders that are compatible with n technology
Most likely not as a wireless-to-wireless extension. However, it should be possible to do a wireless-to-wired extension using the 802.11n AirPort Express Base Station's (AXn) ProxySTA feature.
would it work if i changed the singnal from mixed n/g/b to g only. i'm beginning to think the problem is with n because i connected to my g router perfectly
It's certainly worth a try, although I'm only aware that establishing a WDS between the Linksys and the AirPorts has only been known to work with the WRT54G or GS model.
