iTunes error 2131 - Cant burn itunes songs to CD

This is driving me insane, I recently purchased a new laptop and I can not burn a single CD from Itunes - it just spits the CD out and says ERROR 2131!
Has anyone any idea what to do about this on an acer laptop? Acer say its Itunes problem not theres, but that doesnt help!!
The drive is TSSTcorp CDDVDW TS-L632H ATA device
