Cannot Edit Calendar on iPhone after saving - iPhone 2.0

I was very happy to have all my calendars on my iPhone. However, I found a bug (I hope it is a bug/oversight and not by design). When you enter an event in the iPhone calendar app, choose the specific calendar and save it everything is fine. It's when you try to go back and edit it. If you need to change the specific calendar, you can't. There is no option in the edit screen.

If I'm missing something, someone let me know. I cannot find where I can change an event's calendar on the iPhone 2.0 once it's been saved. I sent this to Apple Feedback but wanted others to realize this. It looks like the only workaround is to delete the event and re-enter with the revised calendar. Hopefully this will be fixed.

I found the fix from another post. Fix was posted by cmaglinger.

You have to match the capitalization or the exact format of your email address from active directory.

On my iPhone, I first had exchange configured with all lowercase characters for my email, but my email in AD had some capitals. So, I just changed my iPhone to match AD.

That fixed 2 things for me:
1) Quit getting invitations from everything that I created even if just me attending.
2) I am now able to edit all appointments wether created on pc or iPhone.

Hope this helps you too.

Thanks for the reply. However, I'm referring to my MobileMe Calendars. I can edit all my calendars, I just can't categorize them after they are saved. Say, for example I have one calendar called "WORK" and another called "PERSONAL". If I create an event in the WORK calendar and save it, if I go back to edit it, I cannot change the calendar from WORK to PERSONAL. The option to change the calendar is just not there.

Anyone else find a fix?

Same here; this was driving me nuts as a BlackBerry convert. "This thing can't edit calendar events and its supposed to be business ready?!?"

Well, apparently our AD uses ALL CAPITALS for username/email. After I just changed it around in Settings from lowercase to uppercase, I have a functional Calendar.
