Possible to sync GroupWise calendar info?

The only way I have found to get my calender onto my iPhone is to use this scraper program by Ben Galbraith which can be found here:

It is not the most elegant solution but it works, and this is the only thing that I have found that works! What you do is enter in your groupwise login and password and point the script to your company's groupwise webmail site. It then scrapes your webcalender and serves out (via an open port on your machine) an iCal calender. Then you open up iCal and subscribe to you current IP address and port. You groupwise calender then shows up in iCal and can be synced to your iPhone. Note that this is a read only solution and you can not add calender items.

What would be an even more elegant solution would be if iCal or the iPhone was some how able to interpret and sync to the IMAP calender. Maybe someone has already figured this one out. If so then let me know.

Pre-iPhone, I have been using CompanionLink software to push my Groupwise calendar from work to my Google calendar. I've been using safari on the iPhone to check the calendar lately, but I know there will be the times when the web is out of reach, and then I won't have my schedule...

I am intrigued by this problem, and interested in anything easier!

I have recently found a solution called NotifyLink which will do this for you and does sync for Email, contacts & calendar over the air on my iPhone with Groupwise.

You can get it in the Uk from a company called London Web.

I'm using Windows, iPhone, groupwise en Outlook and trying to stay in controle of my agenda.
This moment it works likes this:
1. I made 3 google calenders, one for a client i work (groupwise), one for the company I work(Outlook) and one private (also outlook).
2. I have Companion Link for Google, to sync my groupwise calender with Google Calender.
3. I use Synmycal for sync google with Outlook. In outlook also seprated calendars (to have the least interference with eacht outher).
4. I sync Outlook through Itunes with my iPhone.
5. On my iPhone I have a integrated view on the three calenders with different colors.

This works fo now. If you changen through the day in all three calenders then you must sync form 2, 3, 4 and back.

It works allright. So now it works I have the time to find other more suitable solutions.

Novell's cool solution gave me this one-

1) set up a rule that after you accept your appointments, they are delegated to your gmail account. Gmail reads it, and automatically posts the appointment on your google calendar.
2) Subscribe to the google calendar from iCal.

When I try that, the time for which the event is scheduled is shifted 7 hours ahead. (For example, a noon appointment on my Groupwise calendar shows as being scheduled at 5am on my Google calendar.) ???

I've tried to set up the GroupWise rule as described, to take any new Appointments that are posted/sent/received and then delegate them to my gmail address. I can't get the appointment to show up on my Google Calendar though. Any ideas about what I might be doing wrong?

I have this problem too. Any solutions?

I can get the appointments to show up in my inbox but not on my calendar. Am I missing a step here? I would really like to get this to work. thanks

This is my problem, too. I've looked all around the web and can't find a fix for this. The problem seems to be somewhere between the Groupwise delegated email (showing the correct event time) and the received Gmail event (showing the event time 7 hours earlier than scheduled). I am in Pacific Time and, eventhough the Gmail event shows Pacific Time, the hours are 7 hours off so it can't be a DST issue. Does this have to do with the a server's time zone, or a conversion problem from GroupWise to Gmail?

I don't know what you used to sync GroupWise to Gcal, but this worked perfectly for me:

I'm in Eastern time zone, though, so maybe that makes a difference. Now, to find a way to post from Gcal to GW! Anyone?

Try the iPhone App Todo+Cal. I'm using this App a couple of weeks and it works great. We are using GroupWise 8 and for our mobiles, we have the sync server from Nokia. Todo+Cal is connecting to this server and syncs all except the mails. More information under the following link www.synthesis.ch

Toffa offers an iPhone app called GroupWiseSync that appears to work quite well. The catch is that to use it, you need to subscribe to Toffa's sync server, which costs about $50/yr.
