How to enable Rich Text?

Hi,

I'm completely new to Macs and Safari, and I love it but I need help! I'm trying to enable Rich Text in Safari, I have Version 3.1.2, but can't find it anywhere? Any other solutions I've read say it should be automatically enabled but it's definitely not and I can't find it in Safari help?

Thanks!

Macbook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.4)

Hi,

I didn't see any mention on there of the browsers they specifically support for the discussions area (I'm guessing that's where you find the rich text support missing). Maybe try sending Leo an email (address on [this page|http://www.aims.ie/about_contactus.asp]) to see if he is aware of limitations for rich text support.

One thing you could try in Safari is to enable the Develop menu option (via Safari preferences > Advanced) and change the User Agent setting via the Develop menu to make Safari pretend it is IE (note that this doesn't make Safari work like IE, it merely tells the webserver "Hello, I'm claiming to be IE so send me the same webpage you'd send IE" 🙂 ).
