I am guessing that this is something very basic, but I have no idea how to fix it - my iphone shuffles everything that I play whenever I play an album or a playlist. Can someone talk me through that? Many thanks.
The original iPhone did it, and the upgrade to 2.0 does it too. It's really frustrating to try to listen to a book, when it plays chapters in the order 1, 3, 2, 4.
Select on the album coverart for the song playing to bring up the time remaining indicator for the song.
To the left of the time remaining indicator is the Repeat icon/selection, and to the right of the time remaining indicator is the Shuffle icon/selection.
If Shuffle is enabled, the Shuffle icon will be blue. Select the Shuffle icon once to turn it off. When the color of the Shuffle icon is white, Shuffle is off.
The same for the Repeat icon/selection. A blue color indicates it is enabled or on, and a white color indicates it is off.
Select on the album cover art of the song that is playing (it is in the upper right hand corner) to bring up a large picture of the cover art. The time remaining indicator for the song should be visible at the top of the cover art. If it does not come up, tap the top of the cover art to display it.
